The Reading Future

Each book is a new horizon.

About us

We are a group of volunteers who have come together with the aim of establishing libraries or enriching the existing ones in village schools located in underprivileged regions of Turkey.

We carry out these efforts independently—without being affiliated with any institution or organization, and without pursuing any personal gain—purely to highlight the power of social solidarity and to show what we can achieve when we work together.

Unfortunately, many schools today still do not have libraries. Some schools have an unused classroom that can be repurposed, while others only have a corridor suitable for this purpose. Taking these physical conditions into account, we create a specific list of needs for each school and plan our projects accordingly.

Of course, the true heart of these projects lies in providing up-to-date and high-quality books.
By raising awareness and sharing our lists of needs, we continue to nurture the dream of bright tomorrows where primary, middle, and high school students can easily access books and knowledge.

Every new book means a new door opening into a child’s imagination, a new path leading to knowledge.
We reach our goals thanks to your support.
By joining this movement of kindness, you can help illuminate the future.

Our main goal in these projects is to reduce the opportunity inequality faced by students in our country and to pave the way for a better future for them. Unfortunately, there are many students, especially in the eastern regions, who cannot access books and education. Some aspire to become teachers, doctors, or engineers, but due to this inequality, they have to give up on their dreams without reaching them. We are striving to help these siblings get one step closer to their dreams. We have no material expectations from our projects; in fact, our greatest reward is to take pride in their successes and to receive heartfelt thank-you messages from them. In those moments, we understand once again how valuable everything we do is. We carry out these projects entirely on a voluntary basis, solely to see the happiness on our siblings' faces. Knowing that one day we will hear their success stories is our greatest source of motivation.
